These days, Dash’s most used phrase is “I don’t like you.” Lovely thing to be told by your two year old 45 times on a day (no exaggeration). He says it whenever he’s frustrated with any situation. While what I really want to do is also be two and yell back “I don’t like you either!” I try to be the adult and explain why he shouldn’t say that and get him to explain instead that he’s upset and why.
This strategy didn’t exactly yield the desired results. Instead, he screamed “I don’t like… BANANAS!”
Oh really.
